VerifiedUK is a subscription trust seal for UK Limited companies with UK-resident directors. It is designed to sit at the top of the credibility gradient, and to be revocable the day the underlying facts change.
Why we exist
Trust copy has a ceiling. Verification does not.
Every ecommerce site knows it needs trust signals. Most of what merchants add is self-authored and sits on the least credible end of the trust stack, which is why more badges in a footer rarely move conversion. The signals that do work are the ones a shopper knows they did not write themselves.
VerifiedUK is a single, checkable identity signal. We verify against the public UK register at Companies House. If a company is dissolved or a director stops being UK-resident, the seal comes down the same day. It is not a review platform, not a payment badge, and not a broad e-commerce trust programme. It answers one question: who is behind this site, and is that answer still true today.

Niko is the founder of VerifiedUK and runs the Limely product studio in Chester. He has spent over a decade building and analysing UK e-commerce sites across Shopify, Magento and custom stacks.
VerifiedUK is his answer to a question that came up on every audit he ran: how does a UK shopper actually tell whether the site they are on is a real UK business? The register has the answer. The seal is the way to display it.

VerifiedUK is operated by Limely Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 08730008. Limely has built and shipped ecommerce sites, tools, and audits for over a decade, and VerifiedUK is a natural extension of that work.
We are UK-based, UK-owned, and every director on our own register is UK-resident. The same rules that apply to our customers apply to us.
